VIVIAN LAWRENCE has a story to tell.

Don’t Ask Vivian, SHE’ll tell you all about how the United States Army transformed her idea of identity, gender, and how you don’t have to be a rough and tumble man to serve the country. In perfect cabaret style, full of music, laughs, and a fully-realized Wicked moment: “Don’t Ask, I’ll Tell” will have you standing at attention. With Ray Fellman (After Party NYC) at the piano!

show info

  • Comedy? Drama? Love Story?

    D. All of the above.

  • Think of your favorite Broadway show. Now take away 99% of the cast, crew, stage size, budget, and forget about costume changes. Other than that, it’s pretty much the same.

  • You bet your army brass there is! Covering songs by Elton John, The Eagles, Joni Mitchell, and a couple from your favorite animated 90s films, Vivian will have you on your feet and singing along, with the amazing Ray Fellman at the keys!

  • How nice of you to ask. Vivian doesn’t classify herself as a drag queen in the way of Rupaul’s Drag Race. She is a non-binary cabaret artist that embodies both male and female aspects of her persona, but prefers to go by she/her pronouns. So, not a drag queen, but still a queen, honey!
